Couple of farseers? The one on the right is recent, the left was the one I used on tournament play in the 90s. Which do you prefer? #paintingminiatures #miniatures #warhammer #oldhammer #40k #dnd
Xenon II Megablast was pure Bitmap Brothers style: metallic graphics, smooth scrolling, huge sprites, and such a soundtrack by Bomb the Bass that made every level feel like an arcade spectacle. Released in 1989, it became one of the defining shoot'em-up on the Amiga and Atari ST.
Art by Noriyoshi Ohrai for the movie program sold at Japanese screenings of Mad Max 2 (The Road Warrior), 1982.
Bee, named for the deadly sting of her plasma pistol. And failing that, she has a backup option of just caving a skull in with her pick.
Random fact of the day: A group of rhinos is called a crash. I reckon a group of Zoats must also be a crash.
Basic rule: if Oli Frey did a painting about your game for a magazine, it was automatically a better cover than the cover you'd commissioned for said game. (Key exception: Bob Wakelin)
My goodness I love #Dragonbane art. These are from the forthcoming city supplement Arkand, which looks very exciting
This awesome image has totally eclipsed in my mind whatever the actual official box art for Red Moon was. And it's not particularly representative of the game anyway, which was a rather dated text adventure that blatantly ripped off #runequest. #zxspectrum

Made some terrain for the ships to fight over. Styrofoam balls from the hobby store stuck on bamboo skewers, a layer of plaster, then painted like gas giants. The lines on the first one were a little bit wonky, before I learned I could use a rubber band as a guide. #BFG #battlefleetgothic
Cover art from the first edition of MUTANT CHRONICLES ttrpg (1993)

The absolutely charming - and presumably rogue, if friendly - automated infantry character, 'B for Bertie' from Warlord Games. Utterly fun to paint the entire way through, dripping with character. Painted entirely with @thearmypainter.bsky.social range. #jhbackdrops
Sadly my D&D books and all did not make it far enough along with me...but I do still have an unused Basic Set. *because I had 2 back when.
Yeah, I scum saved my way through it as I haven't got the time to memorise all the timings like I did BiTD... #zxspectrum
