I’ve spent 5 years learning to code while developing an app at the same time. I’m just now starting to learn the business side and I’m highly doubting myself. But I’m committed to this mistake 😆

I appreciate that Dolly Parton refused to participate in "dress respectability" and, by her own account, modeled her aesthetic after a town "tramp," who she thought was beautiful. She separated aesthetics from character and understood "classiness" to be about how you treat people, not how you dress.
Cleaned up this Dolly sketch from a few years ago, mostly to make her hair twice as big, because she deserves it.

They are easy to handle and look great. I wonder why more games don't adopt these as an alternative to meeples/standees/minis. Illustrations by Behemot. #boardgames #bgg

Ran out of tokens again so I wrote some code.. for the first time in a few months… feels incredibly slow. I hate my summer income, as soon as I can I’m upgrading my plan. I guess I’ll be focusing on business for 4 days 😥
I started learning to code when I was 28 in 2021 but I have a long ways to go before I can launch my app 😆 this is comforting
