Colonel Abrams - Trapped @ Top of The Pops (1985) In 1995, Boards of Canada made a remix of Trapped, often considered to be “proto-vaporwave”. Vaporwave artists like Luxury Elite would go on to sample Abrams' work, making him an important piece of vapor royalty! 🥂
Hey! I wanted to let you know I'm starting to feel better. I have an occasional flare-up of symptoms but I've figured out how to mitigate when that happens. They're much less frequent, and I've had none so far today. Work has been really accommodating, so that has helped. Thanks for the good vibes!

It is genuinely bizarre that we’ve become acclimatized to right wingers throwing a tantrum every time a black person (particularly a black woman) is cast in something, but are also supposed to pretend that this is not racism but related to some other substantive concern.
So ... an update: I went to the Emergency Room on Thursday. I don't want to put any details online, but I've been told I need to rest and take it very easy for a couple of weeks until I can see my GP when she gets back from vacation. I'm going to get orders out, and do what I can when I can. ❤️

A24 is issuing takedowns for all sorts of backrooms content on social media, as well as merch elsewhere right now, that have nothing to do with the movie. I feel like a lot of people were afraid this would happen. They just... own the backrooms concept now I guess. Frustrating
