I am begging you not to believe gazillionaire baseball owners when they tell you Skubal going to the Dodgers means we need a salary cap. Competitive balance is not the reason they want a salary cap. They just want to spend less, and with more predictability, on total payroll. That is all.

Calling for “partnership” while directing almost every practical recommendation at one side of the table is not balanced analysis. It’s advocacy for a negotiating posture that asks the public to be more flexible while placing little pressure on the private party receiving $1.1B in public support.

In Mario Kart: Double Dash, shadows in the environment do not follow any kind of lighting logic and appear to have been placed solely based on "vibe". This results in shadows being cast in nearly every possible direction at the same time.

They paid a ransom demand that didn't even get them the protection they wanted (the Blazers not being able to move). They committed $365M and the threat exists just as much now as it did back in March. No project details. No projections. Just take the money and promise you'll stay.
