I won't be watching the match tonight but I do wonder how the players wearing an Irish jersey will manage to last 90 minutes of running and standing when not one of them has a spine. Shame on them all. They are not representing me tonight... now or ever again. #spéirgorm

A gentle reminder that more than 30x the number killed on 9/11 have been massacred in just the last 3 years in Palestine... By US weapons, support and funding. Most were women and children and were incinerated by US bombs.

Gary Moore in the Point in 2006 (I think!). He was supporting Whitesnake. Half an hour before doors opened word filtered through he wouldn't be playing because of illness. Saw some stand/in replacement band in his place. Not great. Whitesnake were pretty good though to be fair!

How about this? Best concerts that you ALMOST got to see but DIDN’T. Include reasons if you like: Rolling Stones (play rehearsal) Johnny Cash (I dallied) R.E.M. (play performance) Nirvana (canceled, college declined to pay requested $500 appearance fee)

Waterford - we're counting on you! "You must shun him in the streets of the town, you must shun him in the shop, you must shun him on the fair green and in the market place, by leaving him alone... by putting him in moral Coventry, by isolating him.. as if he were the leper of old"
