The 1,000th Rutherford engine has rolled off the production line🎉The world's first 3D printed, battery-powered rocket engine is now one of the most manufactured rocket engines on Earth. Congratulations to the production and development teams behind Rutherford.

I’m not a bigot. I’m not a transphobe. I’m not a misogynist. I try to think hard about to be respectful of others. I try to think hard about complicated things. I try to figure out the parts of the world I don’t understand. I try to help my community and my neighbors. I don’t know what else to do.

was going through the newly released artemis ii images and this one just made me speechless. that’s our home, a tiny blue crescent, viewed through a window.
This is good but in reality if she wants to turn around the Xbox brand they only have one real solution. MAKE GOOD GAMES
BREAKING: Microsoft is dropping the price of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass today. Both subscriptions will no longer get new Call of Duty games at launch. Full details 👇 www.theverge.com/news/915928/...
NASA OIG is literaly gospel if they are analysing ML-2/EUS/SLS and are hyperbolic uninformed accountants if its about any commercial program. It is just too transparent from the berg
Lmao

OH. MY. GOD. THIS IS THE MILKY WAY SHOT BY THE ARTEMIS II CREW. LOOK AT ALL THOSE STARS!!!!
Can't believe we are doing this! Been waiting for a decade for this and they are going to send it on my birthday.... Thanks NASA! Fly safe Artemis II!
Real excited that a launch I have been waiting a decade for, that happens to be going on my birthday, is going to be turned into a trump propaganda broadcast. amaze amaze amaze
a human using ai for all their code borked something for the second time this week*
A human really borks things at Anthropic for the second time this week.
Orion and core stage battery charging on-going... Seems so far so good, with many people having their fingers crossed :) #ArtemisII
There was this moment on Reid Wiseman's account from yesterday. #ArtemisII twitter.com/astro_reid/s...
The countdown was aborted shortly before ignition, and unfortunately there's no more launch window available today, so that's a scrub. The current window on the range extends until March 29th. The next window after that is from April 8th to April 19th.
Isar has announced that the second launch of their Spectrum rocket, "Onward And Upward", is now set for NET March 23rd at 20:00 UTC due to unfavorable weather. This is the first time Spectrum will carry payloads, onboard are 5 cubesats & 1 hosted payload manifested through ESA's Boost! program.

I hate the "Trump Moon Base, Trump national space policy, Trump Space Supremecy High ground blah blah blah" that is spewing out of NASA. Has been a place partisanship has largely been left at the door, now its a feature and will turn a big portion of the country against them unfortunatly.
Something is wrong if a top scientist is leaving NASA to do science elsewhere

I just resigned from NASA. It breaks my heart to leave, but I’ve become convinced the best path forward is to do the best science I can, and that can’t be here anymore. I’m still in love with the promise of those four magic letters. Ad astra per aspera, and remember: Earth is the only good planet.
Gateway is dead. PPE is being used at least, mission is kinda lame though. 3 ingenuity copters to mars, should have gone to deep space. Didn’t mention this but are basically confirming SLS dead after Artemis V Was right on base Not shifting right, they will, just not yet.
Prediction: Gateway is toast. Hoping they use the PPE module for something good at least Offically announcing starship will to the TLI on A4 which is insane Moon base hype renders w/ few details and an impossible timeline Possibly shifting everything to the right to give SX more time

The launch industry is restructuring itself around a bet I can't evaluate from where I'm standing. I can only build the hardware I'm told to build, hope the demand is real, and figure out what comes n...

I guess we are doing bi-weekly changes to the Artemis program now

T-3 hours to launch for our latest mission for Synspective. Here's today's launch by the numbers: 🦉 8th deployment of a StriX satellite 🚀 Latest of 27 launches overall for Synspective 📈 5th launch of 2026 and 84th Electron launch overall
Okay so they are just turning it all over to SpaceX essentially, not surprising. Essentially Orion is just a safety lifeboat now and this just puts it all on starship. No shot we are doing a landing in 2030 unless blue pulls a rabbit out of a hat
NASA is shaking up its plans for its moon landing if SpaceX gets to the finish line first with Starship. Under the new plan, Starship would dock with Orion in low Earth orbit and propel Orion to low lunar orbit instead. SLS would no longer perform TLI www.bloomberg.com/news/article...
They have wasted an enormous sum of money on "cost cutting" measures
NEW: A federal judge has ruled that the Trump admin's wind-down of operations at the U.S. Agency for Global Media — Voice of America's parent company — is unlawful and ordered the agency to bring more than 1,000 employees back to work.
