Dear artists, You NEED to keep in contact with your commissioners. That's right, all of them. If they paid you money, you MUST communicate with them and tell them what's going on. You cannot just ghost someone for months and months after promising a quick turnaround and expect them to be happy!

If your webcomic is maxing out at three or four panels per page, you're wasting everyone's time—most importantly, your own. Comics don't need to be maximally dense (a valid criticism against *me*, in fact), but each page should attempt to tell a micro-'story' in itself.
