Been fighting back tears all day but this clip got me. I was there live and this match opened the show. It was my first AEW PPV and Okada match. I will never forget it. As Pac walked back up the ramp he broke character and seemed appreciative of the love and chant (The First occurrence I can Recall)

RIP BASTARD PAC is nor only one of the best wrestlers of all time, he's directly involved in two of the most important moments of my wrestling fandom.
This isn't my original thought but I'm being 200% serious: Open up grief counseling to the AEW roster right fucking now. This is a very high level of grief to be dealing with. First Rebel (I know she has not passed but it's terminal), then Andy, now PAC. Watch over the Death Riders like a hawk.
This broke me. PAC was another bright, warm light in this world snuffed out far too soon.

My heart goes out to everyone at AEW. From Rebel’s diagnosis to losing Butcher and now to losing Pac. I can’t even imagine.
We wouldnt have an AEW PPV named Full Gear without PAC, he showed up to the AEW announcement in Jacksonville in Jan 2019 in full ring gear starting a feud with Hangman that led to bits on BTE of Hangman being "Full Gear" ready RIP

for those wrestling-curious, this match is basically gold standard for the modern era: - two men at the top of their game - one is the classic "bruising bad guy" - the other has a "comedy gimmick" - the crowd is hyper-focused - the ref is perfect - the moves are sublime - the storytelling flawless
