My primary gripe at this point is why someone is allowed to create multiple list bots by their own admission that auto-add me to the lists despite having already blocked the list creator. Some AI dork I blocked has me on three different lists they created…. Like how is that not ripe for abuse?

it led to some really surreal, deeply sad hijinks where like matt walsh was like “watch this, xitter chuds: i’m gonna fool the bluesky libs by pretending to be a lesbian communist, that’ll show ‘em,” and everyone on here was like “yeah, you’re just matt walsh *block*”

The only reason BlueSky is a thing is that it gave people fleeing Nazi Twitter a plug-and-play place to reconnect with the people and formerly good parts of Twitter they enjoyed without turning every conversation into an edge lord fight club of bigotry.

How to not sound like a conspiracy theorist to normies when accurately informing them that every level of media from local to national is owned by corporations and that fact absolutely steers their output and never in a way that actually informs you of anything good for you?

1.1% of the country is muslim 1% of the country is trans both have double the poverty rate of the average american apparently these 1% can take over the entire country but the 1% that holds ~37% of the total wealth aren't doing anything worth looking into
