the main fineliner i was using for everything dried up after that centaur drawing so if my lines are wobblier i’m getting accustomed to the quirks of different pen brands now lol
I’m fighting the urge to listen to songs I hadn’t heard before on repeat over and over so that I don’t wring out all the dopamine from them in just 2 days

I love how new audiences continue to discover & appreciate this diagram from my 2014 book 'Dinosaurs Without Bones' (@pegasus-books.bsky.social). Before including it in the book, I imagined, calculated, & drew it, then asked a physicist to peer-review it. Physics, math, & paleontology made fun! 🧪🦕🤮

Last summer, Jay approached me with the coolest pitch: life sized, free standing, poseable dinosaur skeletons. Jay has worked for decades in the creation of spectacular art installations & exhibitions, but needed me to ensure the dinosaurs were anatomically contemporary. (2/6)
