Da Miata Man

I can’t do blue checks anymore, this better work this time.
I missed where they said what Zeus Law is and just got to spend 3 fucking hours wondering
James Carville, from what many believe is the inside of his casket, rants about Hasan Piker
I first read this working a Taco Bell drive thru, when I was in a self pitying life of addiction that had me romanticizing despair more than seeing a warning. Now this book fills me with sadness of relationships ruined and opportunity lost from deciding it’s better to destroy your life out of fear.
This could’ve been really good and it was disorganized fluff instead. So many themes, characters and attempts at backstory that just were tropey instead of building depth. Felt like reading a Netflix prestige drama even with some tremendously written sections that kept me hoping it would get better.
Royce White trust the science about flying on an airplane then
Royce White on Fox News: "I'm just having a blast in my feminine area. I never thought I was a woman. I've always trusted science and thought I was a man, but after further review, a strong look at my personal preferences, it would appear I am indeed sometimes identifying as a transgender woman"
Couldn’t even pull an A Teamer from Outkick, had to settle for Jon Root the sentient rage bait aggregator
Here’s how that looked, via Tribune photographer John Kim
Can’t imagine he can play defense well enough to stay on the court there either
Fuck these fucking fucks
This lady making these is a failed "literary" fiction writer trying to right wing grift into a publishing deal by saying Sally Rooney has a small vocabulary
Excuse me?
When were we pretending Good Charlotte was cool tho?
"The Madden brothers aka Good Charlotte fired almost everyone from REVOLVER Magazine, BrooklynVegan, and Alternative Press"
Im not sure I really believe Clay Travis has 10 million dollars liquid to even cover this
What sort of delusional BS is this??? www.mediaite.com/media/news/c...
2 of these people are under the age of 30
Jesus Christ. Sophie Cunningham fully embracing the right wing grift.
McWatt right before sheering Kid Sampson in half with the airplane
What has to go wrong in someone's life for them to come out as the sort of person who thinks the ad for their E28 needs a poorly-rendered Einstein in it
I have decided to write a novel and have it begin with 3000 words on the history of bowling
An account with this avatar was just blocked.
It rules there’s an entire field of study around why Mozart liked telling people to lick his asshole so much

First thing I’ve read this old in a while. Beautiful surrealist prose for fans of GGM, I felt the Guatemalan mountains wriggle to life off the pages. The plot and structure was a bit difficult for me to tease out and the annotations were not great. I want to revisit with a guiding hand next time.
Using this to remind everyone that you can be racist to Italians because they’re the ones that actually killed Jesus
NEW: Corporate media zero in signs of antisemitism on the left. Meanwhile, one of Rep. Haley Stevens's most powerful backers in her Senate race attends a Bible study that teaches that the Jews killed Jesus...
leaning back in my chair, running a hand over my chin, tapping on the desk for a minute, then clicking "interested"
Sophie Cunningham is fucked up for not only the bigotry but wearing a crew cut long sleeve t shirt under her jersey. What the fuck is going on with that?
Might make people mad to hear, but it really seems the long term effects of Tumblr was de-intellectualizing people who would have been putting work in to learn and now we live in a world where we're moralizing ignorance
Found a much funnier picture of that Sophie Cunningham superfan

Found this as the Guatemalan Bolaño and I agree. Only difference is Rey Rosa doesn’t seem as eager to lie about his complacency or role in his country’s suffering. Crime genre subversion and meta narrative roaring at full tilt in a deep meditation of how much say the past should have on the present
At least Oprah revived Cormac McCarthy, what the fuck is this
It’s that time of year again: here are some of the books I’ve enjoyed this summer. If you’ve read any good ones, let me know!
