Susan Collins voted to confirm Brett Kavanaugh, and she still says she doesn’t regret it. That vote helped overturn Roe v. Wade and strip away abortion rights for millions of women. Mainers should judge Susan Collins by her record — and that record has hurt women and families across our state.

Pending before the court are two motions for temporary restraining orders joined for briefing pursuant to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 42(a)(1).? For the reasons stated below, the court GRANTS a temporary restraining order staying the United States Postal Service ("USPS") from implementing certain sections of its final rule, Ballot Mail for Federal Elections, 91 Fed. Reg. 54966 (Aug. 26, 2026) (to be codified at 39 C.F.R. pt. 111) (the "Final Rule").Ill. Conclusion and Order For the foregoing reasons, Plaintiffs' emergency motions' for a temporary restraining order are GRANTED pursuant to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 65(b) as follows. (1) The court grants an emergency fourteen-day stay of the implementation or enforcement of the following sections of the Final Rule as to elections occurring before or on November 3, 2026. This morning in Danbury, ICE was arresting parents at school bus stops. But it’s more sinister. ICE waited until the kids were on the bus so when they are dropped off at the end of the day, they are alone, scared to death they can’t find their parents. I’m heading to Danbury.

Instead of fighting for Maine, Susan Collins has destroyed Roe v. Wade, recklessly funded ICE, threatened rural hospitals, raised gas prices, propped up Big Pharma, and helped slash Medicaid. Maine deserves a senator who actually gives a damn about the working people in this country.
