For retrospective I do not see Alex as Caine and I do not treat him as Caine personally it's a vision I've had ever since I've been a fan since 2023 that's helped me through a lot of tough times. Alex in general is a sweetheart and him sounding like Caine makes it heartwarming and more motivating.

I just really like Sinners, and I thought the art was nice. I guess I didn’t think hard enough about how it might recontextualize the movie’s themes. For obvious reasons it’s a blind spot that I need to be better at addressing going forward.

I've seen people throw debates toward characters mainly Caine but honestly no one is a "good person" in this show everyone has flaws just like Pomni said they all have done bad things. Yes Caine did...Things. In episode 8, but he shouldn't be thrown all the blame and labelled a villain for it.
I’ve watched this four times and will not be stopping anytime soon
