She thinks they should join a party that rubber stamps anything and everything their glorious leaders asks of them - including covering up for a deceased sex trafficker.

All you have to do is listen to the guy and a million red flags go up. There is zero concern for his daughter. Just tossing blame. A normal parent would be visibly upset and would stop at nothing to find out who hurt her.
