Diagrammatic map of the Tokyo railway network, using a hexalinear grid alignment. The map features both JR railways, private railways, and other minor railways in the region spanning Tokyo and its surroundings (albeit not extending to Chiba, Saitama, or Yokohama due to space restrictions). It uses the standard color-coded system, but with added effort to standardize the color palette and keep the line colors vibrant and complementary.

As far as I can tell, this was the first photo I ever took of a V set - at Strathfield in 1983. The gold tinted windows made them seem so futuristic. 2/n

After more than 55 years serving the people of New South Wales, tomorrow is the last ever run in public service of a V set interurban double deck electric train. So this is the perfect time for a photographic tribute to these venerable, hard working and much loved trains. 1/n
