Imagine a world without religion. No strongly held beliefs without evidence. People driven to learn and improve the collective understanding of the universe.
Turns out the less time people spend in church, the more likely they are to support equal rights for their neighbors. Across nearly every religious group, more church means less support for same-sex marriage. Seems pretty clear: less church is better for society.

I've learned a lot from watching episodes of Lan Lam's show Technique-ly. It's akin to Alton Brown's Good Eats, but condensed and without the comedic story bits. Highly recommend.
God isn't real. There is no afterlife. Religious texts are weapons. Get humans to believe in the supernatural stories and you can manipulate them. Believers will do anything... like fly planes into the WTC, enslave people, commit genocide, or elect Trump. Religion IS the problem. Be smarter.

Christian nationalism has shown exactly why government and religion don't mix. Now let's turn that lesson into a movement to restore the secular government envisioned by our Constitution. We'll keep fighting until that promise is a reality.

Odd thought... In hindsight, Lindsey Graham's last trip to Disney World now seems like it was a Make-A-Wish trip. Walking around without kids holding a bubble wand looks an awful lot like a person with a terminal illness trying hard to finish some items on a bucket list. Just sayin'...
