Behold restrained desire over a fairly mundane thing like short sleeves. The age & confidence gap between the two also make him a good underdog character to root for. He knows someone like him shouldn't act/think this way & is self-correcting.
I've already seen criticisms about the premise Sasaki is unable to tell it's the same woman. But those just gloss over the incredible creativity and playfulness that an artist working within a very specific premise can pull off. The setup is charged with tension and possibilities!
He was raised right because who wouldn't jump at the chance to get their crush's contact info but also Yamada is FLIRTING to save her life over here and he's just so clueless while being so gentlemanly, it's painful. XD XD XD
