Oregon folks: If you are looking for a space with cleaner and cooler air, go to this site and enter "Wildfire Related Clean Air Shelters" and your location and search radius. Also, your closest space may be your local public library, so check their website, too. Masks help with smoke, too.

I work at a public library. People who want to use AI seem to have no trouble doing so. People who don't want to use AI have a harder time. I crowdsourced and then finalized this document "How to disable or avoid intrusive AI" and then gave it a short URL: notoai.org Please pass along if it's useful

So desperate to observe semi-competent people in federal government, I watched three seasons of "The Diplomat", in which Keri Russell and Rufus Sewell play the most charismatic characters I've ever loathed using language to pulp each other's hearts. I don't know how to feel about any of this!

Moleskine lost their way many years ago and there was already little reason to use paper of such inferior quality, especially when so many alternatives are readily available. Try Maruman/Mnemosyne, Kunisawa, Midori, Leuchtturm 120g, Clairefontaine, etc. Life is too short for shite paper. 🖋️📝📔
