Library friends: I'm planning a blog post about negotiating during a job offer. Will you share with me what you negotiated? Or what you wish you would've negotiated? I'd like to give people a sense of the range of things they can ask for. 📚

A friend moved to a new state for a job and was laid off after just three months. He's had a hard time of things for the last few years—please help me raise funds to help him through an extremely bad time. 📚 www.gofundme.com/f/support-fo...

I'm currently looking to raise money for #ICEout observers in rural Minnesota, some of whom are easily driving 100mi or more every day while working to exercise their constitutional rights in places where local police openly collaborate with ICE to hinder them. venmo: @quecksilber #FuckICE

On Jan. 11, Gregory Bovino watched as his Border Patrol agents dragged a man out of his car at a St. Paul Speedway, knelt on his back until he lost consciousness, and dragged his limp body into the back of a van. The man's name is Orbin Mauricio Henriquez Serrano and this is his story.

I work at a public library. People who want to use AI seem to have no trouble doing so. People who don't want to use AI have a harder time. I crowdsourced and then finalized this document "How to disable or avoid intrusive AI" and then gave it a short URL: notoai.org Please pass along if it's useful

I'm working on setting up a fundraiser for a librarian friend who just lost his job, and I'm afraid it won't be successful, that I won't be able to help enough. It feels like so many people are struggling.
