Realized I hadn't put this zine on here in any capacity. I took photos because the design is important to me. (It's an accordion zine!) Anyway...make things! (By me, Kori Michele, but I didn't sign it; 2024) Short version: "Make things. Make more things than they can destroy."

Zine cover "Make Things."Zine, pages 2-7, reading: "Make things with your hands. Share those things with other people. Make more things. Love is poured into the things that you make. the well is endless. The things you make are the vessels for that love."Zine, pages 8-13, reading: "Make things and deliver that love to the world. You will notice that... not only do some people not make things... they destroy them. they burn and torture and break things. Keep Making things anyway."Zine, final page, reading "Make more things than they can destroy." Image of kites flying in the air.

You make ONE observation about how male Sci/Fi Fantasy writers never acknowledge their female peers half as much as their male ones (either in direct acknowledgements or in the hype quotes on books) and all of a sudden it's been HOURS and you have a deeply unscientific data set and no sleep.

A simple chart, at the top it says "Do male SF/F authors read the Women in the field?" Each column is a male sci fi and or fantasy author with a list of 20 people they read. The men are highlighted blue and the women in orange.

God I had the weirdest lecture today from a techno fascist who had somehow managed to coat her politics in a liberal sauce that my university lapped up. She literally called her audience meat sacks for not wanting to use AI and a bunch of professors were like... "Yeah this seems fine"

So. Wicked, huh? It's so weird that the musical chose to yasify this book in particular. Like it's a tragedy about someone violently revolting against the state and- then dying. Now it's a kids movie? I dunno I mean I like the music but I'm very interested in how exactly they plan to wrap this up

The adverts for AI represent the kind of people who use AI are lazy, uninterested, ignorant buffoons, who care more about posing as someone worth employing or talking to than actually understanding the work they’re doing.

Truly the most compelling mystery and the best kept secret of ABC's award winning tv series Lost, is how Faraday got his American accent. I'll accept time travel, I'll accept that every female character is either dead or pregnant, but I have to draw a line somewhere. It's not even transatlantic!
