Starting my biennial re-watch of The 10th Kingdom (2000). I recorded it on VHS when it originally premiered on NBC, missed the first episode completely, & there were constant interputions because of storm alerts & commercials. Got the dvds ~3yrs ago, & it still feels like a new experience. ✨️

I had my top surgery today & the teetus have officially been deletus!!! 🎉 The 2½ hr ride home was a nightmare because of construction & potholes, but I made it home. It actually hasn't sunk yet, but I'm going to sleep off the rest of the anesthesia, then celebrate w/dinner & a movie in bed.

I'm surprised Kingdom Hearts is still trending. Some of the hate it's getting atm, especially by those who "never played anyway," is worthy of an exaggerated eye roll. Reminder it's a kids' game about the power of friendship. Also, being a fan doesn't automatically make you a Disney adult. Wtf 🤨

Imo the Kingdom Hearts series has always felt more Disney leaning with Final Fantasy sprinkled in. A few more original worlds like Traverse Town, Hollow Bastion, & Twilight Town or actual FF worlds like Gaia, Spira, or Ivalice would have gone a long way into making the crossover feel more balanced.

My therapist's office usually sends 1 text reminder for appointments. Normally, this happens on the weekday it's directly scheduled before. At my last session, I was told they're switching to a new AI system. Must be working, I've received 4 since yesterday. The appointment is still 2 days away. 🤡
