An Irish man who has been held in the US by ICE for five months despite having a valid work permit and no criminal record says he fears for his life and has appealed for help from Ireland’s government.

Headline card with text at the top that reads: "Irish man held in ICE detention for five months says he fears for his life". Black-and-white Photo below shows a man and a woman sitting on a staircase.

That moment when you're sitting in a quiet, high-end chocolate shop, sipping your drink and reading your book, surrounded by similarly quiet folks. Then you come on a line that makes you laugh really really loudly and everyone stares at you... @tkingfisher.com

A photo of highlighted text on an e-reader from "Snake Eater" by T. Kingfisher. Text reads "Selena looked around the scene -- fire, darkenss, furs -- and put her face in her hands. (Italics begin) This is what comes of reading The Clan of the Cave Bear at a formative age. (Italics end)"

Just finished @tkingfisher.com's new Sworn Soldier book -- a delight front to back, as always. I don't usually do horror but I'd follow Alex Easton anywhere (except maybe an abandoned coal mine...) I wonder if the author's been listening to Old Gods of Appalachia?

Cover of new T Kingfisher book -- white background with the author's name in old fashioned red text and the title of the book in white san serif font across an image of a decaying dogbear corpse's head and shoulders being pierced by a lot of sticks of a bush/tree/thing (I'm entirely certain Ursula can name the danged species of tree b/c she's like that.)

you know how when you know about a topic and someone gets it wrong, it ruins the whole thing? @hankgreen.bsky.social's focus friend is fine and all that but an average sock is thousands of stitches and days of physical labor. No way my bean could knit that many in an hour.

Woke up early to read the new @tkingfisher.com and found a line that recalled my daughter's passionate herpetological phase. I remember other adults looking at me like "please help?" and I'd respond with a look that said "I talked with your son for 20 minutes about trucks last week."
