This is disgusting - and it feels like we have gone backwards on homophobia, on hate crimes, on street violence.

She wasn’t my preferred candidate but she is now my President. She is the first citizen of the country and as such I respect her position and wish her the very best of luck in her role. President elect Connolly has spoken about representing all and I hope that she is successful at that.

Please don’t listen to monumentally stupid people regardless of their position in this world.
