Farage in The Telegraph: ‘If voters think I’m a crook, they can get rid of me.’ It’s not how the law works but, even so, I’m assuming if Farage is serious he’ll allow the voters of Clacton to look at all his finances, speak to all his donors, and put himself up for rigorous questioning?
Keen to know who is “first car horn” for this evening’s First Night of the Proms #theproms
Not saying it was hot on the Tube yesterday, but I saw Virgil leading Dante down the stairs at Baker Street station. They took the Circle line. The Tube doors opened and two hobbits threw a ring in.
Well I’ve spent the whole of #NorEng drawing the three English lions on a tote bag, time well spent even if we don’t win

Serious questions should be asked as to how the supposedly non-biased BBC can justify airing a broadcast completely operated by Reform UK themselves. Nigel Farage should not been given complete editorial control of what is being aired on our national public service broadcaster.
I can’t help but think that news organisations, particularly the BBC, should’ve waited to find out the content of Nigel Farage’s speech before choosing to broadcast this nonsense, using an official Reform UK live feed.
Vote Binface - the only real antiestablishment candidate. Put Farage in the garbage - recycle the crypto-crony.
A by-election is an expensive way to duck out of an interview with the standards watchdog. Why should the poor people of Clacton host this establishment popinjay and his boy George?
All of France is scorching hot today. Except for one village in the northwest...
THREAD. A while ago my parents' cat Bridget went missing. As the worrying weeks dragged on my dad devised a way to distract himself: he began to paint Bridget's adventures, imagining her travelling through time & inhabiting art's most iconic scenes. What he produced (& how quickly) was phenomenal...
That first light hitting the ground as the sun rises in the morning is just so special. Photo taken in Glastonbury this morning.

Watching USA vs AUS and team USA’s combination of fielding a team of Where’s Wally coached by Russell Crowe is paying dividends so far
Michael Portillo’s sartorial colour choices really have outdone themselves in this evening’s Korea Railways programme
Wow, a local paper in Buckinghamshire is advocating panic buying for WWIII. Seems incredibly irresponsible. Probably written by some junior tasked with creating stories using AI.
Are we the only family to think that the sound of the drones at the Winter Olympics sound like crowds of cheering hamsters? Thus, with the assistance of AI slop this image can be realised
I’ve just finished bingeing all of the #JoeAbercrombie’s #FirstLaw audio books. Stephen Pacey’s narration is an absolutely joy. Say one thing for @joeabercrombie.com, say he writes some cracking Northmen characters. Wonder whether his Lancastrian roots provided inspiration for any of them?
