Just got home. First thing I did was to publish beta 1 of @beavernotes.com 5. You can get it at github.com/Beaver-Notes.... Betas are also coming to the Play Store, TestFlight, and Flathub. Stay tuned for more.

Unfortunately, Malta’s airport Wi-Fi doesn’t seem to be on my side, so you might need to wait another day for @beavernotes.com 5
It’s been 3 years since the first commit was made. In this time, Beaver has grown a lot, and we have an exciting road ahead of us. Thanks to all of you for sticking around through the journey 💖; we can’t wait for you to get your hands on the new version of Beaver.
I know I said @beavernotes.com 5 beta would have landed this week. Unfortunately, I spotted some issues with sync, which is now getting rewritten using Yjs. Tomorrow I’m going to release a blog post with all the work I’ve been doing in the past weeks and also a roadmap update #buildinpublic
RIP Bonnie Tyler 75 (Total eclipse of the heart singer)
Just updated the PR for Beaver Notes 5. Check it out. The changes don't cover everything because over the course of 6 months, I honestly forgot what I even did. github.com/Beaver-Notes... #buildinpublic #opensource

Trump is an international embarrassment.
Trump: We had 111 missiles shot by the Islamic Republic of Japan
I’m working on Beaver’s plugins system, but I’m still figuring out the direction I want to take. Some ideas: - Custom editor blocks - Third-party integrations (GitHub, Google Drive, calendars, etc) - Workflow automation and deeper access to your notes I’d love to hear your ideas. #buildinpublic

WTF is happening @github.com this morning? I receive a comment from a guy telling me I’ve been ignoring his issue. I’ve been hunting down issues and PRs everywhere in my repos ‘cause apparently I’ve missed a ton and never got notified.
Here’s a little sneak peek at what I’ve been doing the past week for @beavernotes.com. A complete overhaul is coming later this month in beta. #buildinpublic #dev #ui
Today marks 10 years since a gunman took 49 lives at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, FL. We honor those lost while continuing to strive for a country where LGBTQ+ people can safely be themselves.
Super excited for my first project at Bluesky to launch! (Sorry it wasn’t an edit button 😔)
Along with group chats, we've rolled out a new way to share your profile and invite friends to find you on Bluesky. Check your profile — you'll see a new share button. You can use this to create a personalized QR code other people can scan to more easily find (and hopefully follow) you.
Just discovered my fav content creator @agenomicsphdd.bsky.social joined Bluesky. Go show her some love 💗 #STEM #AcademicSky #SciSky
What's up, chat! Group chats are rolling out today in the new v1.124 update. This is our first feature built for communities, and there's more to come.
I recently stumbled on a post on Twitter by the creator of Aave. Tbh, I didn’t look into the actual project, but I’m stunned at their intention of liquid glass on Mobike. Who knows, maybe one day in @beavernotes.com. Anyhow, here’s the blog post: aave.com/design/build... #ui #dev #ios
Building Glass for the Web
How we built a cross-browser glass effect for the web, and how it shapes a family of components.

I’m not sure what’s happening at Flathub, but this is absurd. I support implementing quality controls to ensure software quality, but a blanket ban on all AI-generated code will only hinder Flathub.
Here’s a little sneak leak of what i’ve been working on for @beavernotes.com ’s mobile ui. I’m gonna commit it on Github first thing tomorrow #BuildInPublic #opensource
Had 10 seconds to myself, so of course I redesigned the now playing section on my website. Now if you head to daniele-rolli.com on your computer, you’ll see a spinning cd with lyrics scattered around. On phones, I had to go for a more subtle widget 😭
I’ve been working on Orbit to improve its user interface and make it work with more devices. Right now, it’s mainly for Colmi rings, but I’ll tweak it before it hits the App Store. Also trying out opt-in on device Apple Intelligence for health tips and data interpretation.
I thought this blender thing would be easier, cause what in the skinwalker is even this
Working on new ways to bring our mascot to life, animations coming soon!
