Thanks. Yes, that's what I was trying to say, but took too long to get there. Our politics community is strong, and I'd love for us to expand into new communities. Science and sports have already taken off. Birding, gardening, K-pop, we're open to all (except nazis and jerks).
bruh I’m not a fan of the verge clearly taking this out of context for engagement
Bluesky's new CEO Toni Schneider on the platform's reputation for being a liberal bubble: "Yes, we definitely want that to change. It is already changing. It certainly wasn’t designed to attract one specific group of people."

Still the most annoying part about iOS is this system data thing - why can’t apple fix it? I’ve tired the dodgy workarounds to fix it but it’s never worked for me :/
finally updated my iPhone from iOS 27 DB1 to DB4! left it for so long bc I kept forgetting to update ngl 😭 hoping it's more stable! first beta was really good anyways ngl
one interesting thing i’ve noticed with the rise in LLMs becoming genuinely good at code is that a lot more desktop software is written natively for platforms! i’ve played with a Raycast alternative written in SwiftUI the past few days, and it uses FAR less RAM! abue-ammar.github.io/tinycast/
Tinycast — a tiny, native macOS launcher
A free, open-source Raycast alternative for macOS: fuzzy app search, calculator, clipboard history, and global hotkeys in ~3 MB. A lighter take on Raycast, Alfred, and Spotlight. Native, local, no telemetry.

Tuesday was Stateless MCP day—the rollout of MCP 2.0, or the 2026-07-28 Model Context Protocol specification to use the more formal but less memorable name. This is the most significant …
