Part of what's so impressive about Bryan Cranston's performance on BREAKING BAD is his commitment to being an asshole. Many actors playing villains tip a little look of awareness or regret to convey to the audience that they're not really that bad; it's to preserve off-screen personae.

July 2026 was the most successful month the River Oaks Theatre has experienced since reopening in October 2024. That's impressive in its own right, but July 2026 was a 40 percent growth over the July 2019 box office for the River Oaks Theatre.

Such a great show. I owe my dad for introducing me. It was decades ahead of its time: deeply serialized, narratively dense, psychologically driven. It was prestige tv before the idea even existed. And the opening credits are absolutely killer.
