Somewhere in England, a tired man turns off Channel 4 news and wearily puts on a bin.

Catching you on the flip side most days of the week. Seattle Mariners and Manchester United. Other stuff, too, of course. But mostly those two on here.
Another Miller start today in the year of our lord 2026 - I know needs must and all but…
Annnnnd I’m off to bed. It’s late in the UK and I’m not wasting any more good sleep on this team right now. Adios
Has the bullpen tried not walking walking everyone? Might help, is all.
Well… not a complete disaster - just go out a few more on the board (easy, right 🤷♂️).
Boom! Great catch Naylor! Question is now, with Kade’s pitch count/limit, does Dan let him go back out for another couple outs or call it now and leave what has been another impressive outing from the rookie…
Looks like it’s our ‘we now get blown out once a series’ game tonight
Yeahhhhh Woo ain’t got it tonight - shoulders obvs still niggling, not sure what we do really… ride it out I suppose, save the bullpen as best we can even with the day off
Just crazy that they started the year benching Canzone against lefties and now he’s hitting second
Didn’t need this start from Kirby really.. at least we can try 1 up Tuesday’s shutout loss and really go for the history books 🤷♂️🤦♂️
FACT: the risk of flash flooding increases when the ground's been scorched by extreme heat. And we know something about that in London: five heatwaves, record temperatures, wildfires... We can't go on like this. Global leaders must heed these calls.

Really might be time to get ourselves off them fossil fuels, yeah? I mean. Just an idea… if anyone else fancies it 🤷♂️
CNN@cnn.com · 2mo agoHomes were burned to the ground, and three firefighters and a child were taken to the hospital after wildfires broke out in the UK on its hottest day of the year.
Is that three 3rd strike challenges Pereda tonight? Can’t lie, he’s a fun player man
It will take a miracle of biblical proportion to turn this titanic of a team round. Mariners 2026 season is well and truly in the mud for me. Thankfully the premier league starts in a couple weeks so another team I’ve got pre season high hopes for can destroy my happiness for 6 + months 🙃
I swear no tower fucking team in baseball runs into more double plays than us!! It’s 21:53 in England I’m too tired for this shit. Stupid team and I’m going to bed
But then I also have Miller, too. So there’s that, too, unfortunately…
At least I have Dingler in my fantasy team. There’s always that, I suppose…
The fact that a 40 pitch 3 run 1st inning for Miller, seems like we got off lightly, is something of a god send and and a shitshow. Strap in folks, this is prime Mariners baseball we are in for.
Can’t pitch, can’t hit, can’t play D, stars not turning up? Yeah, the vibes are bad man, this seasons done. If we’re going to buy this deadline it’s for 27 and beyond in my opinion. Done with this year, sadly..

Much much much needed series win! And Munoz has looked v good the last two games. Plus Spain saved us from one of the most unlikeable football teams I can ever remember watching from winning the WC - all round a pretty good night 😎
Time for John Terry to run on in full Spain kit and hoist a Falklands flag in the centre circle.
