Margaret Thatcher called bin Laden a 'freedom fighter', Mandela a 'terrorist', Pinochet a 'good friend' and trade unions 'the enemy within'. And Jimmy Savile 'Sir'.

I don't live in the UK and I'm day late as yesterday was her birthday, but Margaret Thatcher was fucking evil and her neoliberal policies made everything in even worse. I still love the clip of an elderly Scottish woman celebrating her passing due to the harm her economic caused in Scotland.

If I ever make an alternate history scenarios for WW2, at no point will I make it where the Nazis win. Even in my darkest alternate timeline where denazification is an even bigger failure due to surviving Nazis exploiting the US's fear and hatred of communism, the Nazis still lose the war.

Prominent white evangelical leaders don’t want kids watching Ms. Rachel. They say Pride flags are dangerous. They want "Thou shalt not kill" posted in classrooms. But a live-streamed government-sponsored execution? That's just fine. www.friendlyatheist.com/p/the-pro-li...

The “pro-life” pastors who want America to watch a live-streamed execution

Many of the evangelical pastors who denounce Pride flags in classrooms and Ms. Rachel are celebrating the possibility of a government-sponsored snuff film

I'm not sure if this what MAGA means when they say they're honoring Charlie Kirk (who also advocated for executions to be broadcast and as an initiation) but so much for the state looking for more humane methods (for the onlookers at least) to murder people.

X-Men: The Last Stand aka how to completely botch the source material and themes of the comics. We can, once again, blame Brett Ratner for this. Again, even though it only lasted 2 seasons, I still recommend The Gifted to see the source material and themes tackled respectfully.
