This is Winston. He got out of his house without a collar and was wandering around my street. We took a brief adventure together to SF Animal Control where his chip was scanned and his frantic owner came and picked him up. Hooray!

honestly with the deepening economic crisis in NZ, a flood of kiwis moving overseas, our crumbling infrastructure, and so on, it's hilarious to think that it was somebody's top priority in the prime minister's office to comb through the rules for a mere NZ$200K prize and make these changes. pathetic

We've been talking about scenarios like this for years now and just air-gapping the fucking systems is well-known. There is no exponential takeoff in capabilities happening. There _ARE_ a bunch of grown-ass adults who should fucking know better who are playing with fire and getting everyone burned
