Basically, recessions are caused by "everyone trying to save money at the same time". This is a problem because at an aggregate level, everyone's income is the same as everyone's spending.

This is an incredibly valuable article. If you are inside Silicon Valley, you really need to understand that this is the way that people outside view you. And if you are outside the Valley, like most of us are, from someone who has been inside the Valley—this reads as ludicrous but is all true

When teaching history, avoid focusing on individuals. Focus on methods, structures, and connections. Don't teach about Rosa Parks. Teach how they organized protests and transportation during the boycott.

What I have seen a lot of people expressing is shock that the guy insists the parenting plan means his child’s mother cannot seek emergency care without approval. What you need to understand is that abuse is fundamentally about narrative control.
