*Googles "fun deer t-shirt design"* ... *Googles "fun deer t-shirt design that doesn't involve a photo realistic deer staring at the camera with a US flag behind it"* There are SO many ugly deer t-shirts...

I'm all for supporting your local game store. They're the backbone of nerd culture and are usually run by nerds who just wanted a place for their friends to hang, but have to cover rent. But sometimes not giving a business my patronage isn't enough. How do I anti-give them business?

An AI generated logo from a local gaming lounge called "Gamer's Lair" featuring an uninspired purple dragon wearing a purple wizard hat, holding in their claws a poorly rendered gaming controller, two trading cards that barely resembling recognizable brands with jumbled text, and a d20 front and center with none of the numbers properly labeled.A blatantly AI generated advert of a fantasy group standing in front of an orange landscape with text. All the elements are orange or orange tinted with no regard to balancing or intent or any sort of quality control. An AI generated DnD advert with a bunch of elements thrown together. An image from the gaming lounge website that is actually a genuine representation of what they have to offer, from gaming space, to console gaming, and even some nice wall art of a purple dragon that may or may not have been AI generated. I don't know, I'm tired boss.

Depression is deceptive because over time it will make a million micro adjustments to your mind, slowly shifting your thoughts, your habits, your mindset, your decision making, and you won't even know how fucked up you are until someone asks "when was the last time you did something you enjoyed?"

I naturally default to the "jokey joke joke" form of conversation, but that's often paired with pondering the joke as a genuine thought experiment. Like "haha, that's just silly! But hmm... what WOULD happen if you tried making a door out of plutonium..."

I know a lot of people find cooking relaxing or they love to cook, but for me, it's just exhausting thinking that all this effort I'm putting in will only yield enough food for a day or two. ...sure I could make giant pots of stew that would last a month, but still.

I'm studying for an certification exam and just got the text books. They're three big books about 700 pages long filled with the driest information about logistics you can imagine. I haven't studied in years and even then I usually didnt because the bar to pass was so low. Where do I even begin?

I get the fact that Bluesky is all open source and that's super handy, but its a REAL pain in the neck trying to share links with someone when they use Boogle.Sky and youre over here enjoying the more streamlined Grunge.Sky

Sometimes I wish the human language had a sort of anti-laugh. Like if a joke isn't funny, you don't laugh. But sometimes the joke is so much of a waste in time that you feel like there's a laugh debt and the other person owes you some laughs to make up for it.

See its not even that I like wearing dresses or bows or pink stuff. ...it's just that its like everyone else is wearing that stuff and gushing over each other about it. And I can't help but feel... I dunno, left out.

I think noisey is wasteful. Even though I know that's not how sound works, I can't help but look at noisey things the same way you might look at a running faucet. Because that noise is a byproduct. Energy is being put into an object and some of that energy is being turned into noise. So wasteful..

Would owning a fursuit make me happy? Yes? Maybe? Would I be able to justify the cost by going out and wearing it to conventions or volunteer events or stuff like that? ...I'm afraid to think the answers no. And that's a fear on a deep emotional level.

It must be an awful time to grow up in and be interested in animal facts. Searching for something as simple as "facts about deer" and "facts about horse" gave me wall to wall AI generated slop. Not even filtering it out helps! Information super highway my FOOT!

I think it'd be kinda neat if I could sing with that growly voice they have in death metal music. I dunno, it'd just be a cool little skill I'd love to have. Go to a karaoke night, start the night off with some classic rock songs then BOOM hit them with some death metal.

Instead of saying "good luck", I've gotten in the habit of saying "godspeed". Not because I'm religious, but people are so desensitized to "good luck". "Godspeed" has the same well wishing power that I genuinely want to add and it also usually gets a little chuckle out of them too!

So diaper pails are pretty neat, right? Like there's a stealthiness to trash bags because you can toss your diapers in there and that's it. But a DIAPER PAIL means there's a big BABY in the house who goes through enough DIAPERS to need one!

I think Fallout 3 and New Vegas made me not enjoy gore in video games. Not because I'm squeamish, but after you've seen your hundredth bad guy blow up in a pile of meat chunks and strawberry jam it gets kind of tiresome. It's also like motion blur to me where it distracts from the rest of the game.

I hope one day I can go to a tea room with someone who is really into tea and can prepare me the best kind so I can see once and for all if I'm not a tea guy or I just don't know how to brew it properly. Also, I want to go and just eat little tiny tea cakes with tea that has more cream then tea.

I'm so upset with myself... This year I told myself I was going to go to pride, I even got an outfit together. ...until I realized I had already made plans weeks ago without realizing it was THIS weekend. Why does my city have their big pride festival on the FIRST WEEKEND!?
