Well, if the cyclist was riding in a DZBL (Door Zone Bike Lane), then I'd say the person responsible for manslaughter was the traffic engineer that put in the DZBL, not the motorist. Engineers have known for decades that motorists don't look before opening their doors.

I live by the park. I see people finding a lot of "creative" parking spaces. But this is the cheekiest, by-far. Thanks, Police.

I had so much fun playing Oath this weekend. I hosted 3 games over 10 hours at Geekway to the West. It's so cool seeing the Oath world come alive! But even more fun are the group dynamics. I like seeing how other players play! And I like teaching something that's hard - teaching it fast.

Today I played Oath for the first time in 4 years. We used pnp stuff for New Foundations. The owner of this box had players keep a chronicle for their player color so I started the game by reading my family lore dump. I made sure my descendants know to never accept the shame of citizenship as I did.

A state that redraws its legislative maps before every election to maximize advantage for the incumbent party is not a democracy or a republic and in any case obviously violates the guarantee clause, among many others. No country does this. No country ever thought of doing this. It is a total farce.
