I was worried about messing someone's bookmark in our shared audible for this book. I asked my sister, but mistyped. Her response? "I who have never listened to I who have never known men on an edible have never listened to I who have never known men on audible. Does that answer your question?"

So I really like industrial noise music, but I may have carried it too far. Yesterday I turned *OFF* the music I was listening to, because there was some electrical problem in the metro station, and it seemed like a really good song to me. I tried to record it, but the levels were weird.

After a very long hiatus doing other projects, over the last two months I've been building new things in Graspable Math, and am having a lot of fun! I've been building what I'm calling 'Algebra manipulatives': little sandbox worlds that balance exploration and openness with constraints. More soon!

A set of equations built in Graspable math, that can be manipulated algebraically and seen visually.

Trust me, I know that many of the students don’t do the reading and are finding other ways to skate by, but there are still so many that are so brilliant and so thoughtful, and so eager to learn, and it doesn’t seem that much different from when I was an undergrad TBH
