I am simply begging people to put information about their events, programs, projects etc in more places than just Instagram. It's fine to post on Instagram (obviously) but when that is the ONLY place that one can find info about what you're doing and hosting, that sucks! For so many reasons!!

Bots have made their way to Prolific experiments. Our lab has stopped online testing of adults entirely now for this reason - we want to know if what we study is real. Probably data collected 2-3 years ago are ok, but moving forward we just can't know. www.pnas.org/doi/10.1073/...

My team and I are getting ready to run a big study on Prolific, but we are pretty spooked about AI tools for filling out surveys online etc. What measures are you all implementing to sort out bots, and how bad is it out there? 😳

I am designing a study in which participants will be asked to listen to audio tracks daily for a month. I want to be able to track how many times each participant listens to each track. Does anyone have experience with a platform that does this (or customizing/making one yourself?) Thanks!!
