No. 60 #Maldives #Thulusdhoo #visitMaldives #sunrise #goldenhour #island #photography #lagoon #travel #photographersofbluesky #fujifilm #fujifilmxe5

Sunrise at Cokes Surf Break reveals the sun rising behind the nearby resort. A boat, likely fishing or on a sunrise cruise, moves through the channel between the two islands. At the bottom of the frame, foamy waves touch the shore, tinted blue by the sky’s light. Beyond them, the sea turns golden as the sun emerges above the horizon. Low-lying clouds appear grey and stormy, while the sky above glows with a band of gold.

The Market is Still There : Though the signage is faded with time the market it advertises is still operating. #ghostsign #ghostsigns #ghostsignproject #scape #cityscape #monochrome

Black-and-white photograph of a downtown Knauer’s Market storefront, with a large weathered painted sign reading “Knauer’s Market Quality Food” above the building and a vintage projecting sign repeating the name. First Days of Fall Redux The second day of the trip featured a sopping wet night on Lake Crescent. #bikepacking #cycling #photography

Two loaded bikes outside of the Joyce General Store. The store is white clapboard with blue trim. An American flag and a POW-MIA flag are flapping in the wind.

A gravel road ascends into a tunnel of trees on the way to Lake Crescent.

A small tarp partially covers a picnic table set amongst some large evergreen trees. A couple bikes lean against trees and there is a small tent in the background.

A one person tent pitched on ground covered with pine needles. Tall evergreen trees frame an opening onto a view of the blue green water of Lake Crescent. The pine needles proved to be a real mess the next morning after it rained all night.

First Days of Fall I just got back from 5 days on the Olympic Discovery Trail. Wonderful time to be there other than a rather wet 24 hours! #bikepacking #cycling #photography

A bicycle loaded up with 5 day worth of gear leans against a diagonal timber of an old railroad trestle that crosses the Dungeness River. There are many trees in the background.

The blue waters of the Strait of Juan de Fuca are adjacent to a rip rap reinforced wall. Port Angeles is in the background under blue skies and white clouds.

A bicycle leans against a railing on a bridge crossing the Elwha River. The bicycle has many bags on it with all of the equipment needed for four nights.

A Kona Sutra LTD bicycle loaded up with bikepacking gear lays on its side on a gravel road lined by tall evergreen trees.

The Wynoochee River passes through the foreground. The shore of the river is rocky and lined with trees. Mountains under a blue sky with puffy clouds sit in the background.

A bikepacking bike leans against lush foliage along the Maidenhair Falls Trail. A massive old growth tree trunk is in frame as well.

Maidenhair Falls cascades down a canyon and between a large tree that is split in half and laying on the falls.
