Your reminder Rod Liddle not only said he couldn't have become a teacher because he "could not remotely conceive of not trying to shag the kids" in The Spectator, but he also wrote laws banning child pornography are "absurd" in The Guardian. Abhorrent.

Now he needs to act IMMEDIATELY to stop the arrests of people who want to stop the genocide - it's extended now to folk who aren't even carrying Palestine Action banners. The law of wrongful arrest will be used against the police in cases like this, under Burnham's watch.

I worked for New York’s largest medical center at the start of the pandemic. There were morgue trucks on the streets. They set up emergency medical tents in Central Park. Healthcare worker colleagues died. It is horrific that RFK Jr is on national TV lying that ICUs were empty.

Sandycove far less populated than it had been during the heatwave - back to the more usual numbers swimming. Lots of lifeguards, though, warning us of jellyfish. Marine life was rich, especially taking my favourite promenade to Dún Laoghaire. Sean seals' heads but not multiple basking on rocks.
