Our letter of concern to Acta Paediatrica on the recent Finnish registry study has been accepted and will be published soon. We raise concerns about the statistical approach, but perhaps more importantly, about how the study’s findings have been communicated.

Den forskningsetiske komiteen legger ikke akkurat fingrene imellom i sin siste fellelse av OUS’ forskning på transpersoner. Jeg er intervjuet, og mener de involverte må fritas fra oppgavene sine inntil saken er ferdig gransket.
Ingen tvil om at OUS har forsket ulovlig på barn og unge med kjønnsinkongruens, ifølge komité

typwritre Monky@tpwrtrmnky.bsky.social · 9mo agoSo the Oslo University Hospital group that got caught doing illegal research on trans minors actually applied for an exemption to privacy regulations and got denied... THREE TIMES! Then went ahead and tried to be sneaky about it anyway!
This spring, I coauthored (proof-read, really) this short conference paper on the differences between the two only public pathways for gender affirming care in Norway. Now, one of the clinics has been closed to minors, and the other has been caught doing illegal and unethical research on minors.
