Finally got around to watching the second episode of season 2 of X-Men ‘97 yesterday & I definitely got goosebumps & teared up a little with that X-Force opening.
To my knowledge, Tolkien never says why the Dwarves call themselves ‘Khazad’. However, we do know that Adûnaic was strongly influenced by Khuzdul. Given this, Adûnaic’s word for ‘7’ being ‘Hazad’, & the significance of 7 for Dwarves, we can conclude they use it bc they’re ‘the people of the seven’.
Who is the Elves’ favorite film director? (I wish BlueSky had a ‘Mark as Spoiler’ function so maybe I’ll do it in katakana so y’all can just hit ‘Translate.’)
