The prime point is that there were many potential paths to peace available to both Israel/Jews, and Palestinians for millennia, but their millennia of hate and “religious” dogma/false pride and hubris led to their mutual destruction. Extreme attachment to dogma is always recipe for genocide and war.

This wasn’t how it was supposed to be… The tragic truth is that, as some of us warned a decade ago, mainstream climate science has turned out to be the opposite of alarmist. It has turned out to be complacent and over-optimistic. Truthfulness - and strategic adaptation - are urgent. (Pse repost.)

The 15-year trend runs at 0.42C per decade. The 2026 and 2027 points for the current El Nino are estimates. We're not remotely ready!

I agree with him that ICE should be abolished. I’m voting for Haley Stevens because as my US Representative, she’s working on shifting ICE funds to local authorities and holding independent third party investigations to hold them accountable. Those are pragmatic, achievable, immediate actions.
The Supreme Court just dismantled voting rights. The people are marching. August 28. Washington, D.C. Defend the Vote.
Our neighbors are being kidnapped from our streets. We have seen increased ICE activity across Seattle neighborhoods over this past week. ICE must be held accountable for their cruel and illegal actions. We know that fear and chaos is their goal. We counter that with knowledge and community.
