I think one reason I don't interact with fandoms is that it's too easy to internalize bullshit discourse. The new MAWS episode with Eradicator (Doomsday?) was really cool, but then I go look at ppl's reactions and start thinking about shit like "referenceslop" instead of just enjoying something.
Fwiw, a handful of people have gone out of their way to emphatically apologize for thinking my pony art was Ai generated before they realized it was me- and the sentiment IS appreciated, but: I don’t mind!
