The very important thing to understand about these threats from the Kremlin is that their purpose is to generate headlines like this. Unable to coerce the UK govt directly, they aim to do it through scare headlines that shift public opinion.
Russia enjoyed a revenue boost from the Iran war-caused rise in oil prices, but Ukraine is managing to disrupt some sea-borne exports. Though the big story is the crash in refined products. Russia is both experiencing fuel shortages at home and lost tens of billions of dollars in export revenue.

At worst, we are losing invaluable works. Regardless, they are stealing decades of knowledge without attribution. This needs to stop.
