When it comes to the animation world, there is something that brushed me the wrong way for the past decade and it's when people call an animator or an animation "bad" because it's not smooth like sakuga/anime ; vintage disney era. All animations does not need to be smooth to be called "good".

I don’t know how to rate my art in terms of style. Is it manga? Is it semi? It’s def not a realistic style but it’s not „traditional“ manga either? Sometimes I draw big eyes, sometimes not, depending on the character design. What is the definition of my style? 😭 Current WIP:

Listen to me. Listen. If you're making images that will only be displayed on screens, YOU HAVE TO LET GO. You can calibrate your screens perfectly, but then 25k people will see it on their shitty $50 monitors or cracked phone and its out of your hands. Don't think of it. Achieve enlightenment.

Tweet by @night margin "digital artist woes" image of the same color gradient on various screen (monitor 1 appears very grey purple, phone appear VERY pink, monitor 2 appears a more saturated purple, laptop appears brownish red, family's phone appears much darker and bluer etc.)
