My girl is five years down the road and new effects popping up. The struggle is real.
I can partially get why muggles don't understand that carcinomies have to deal with late effects from treatment and fear of recurrence. I just cannot understand how there are still medical professionals who just don't understand this. #Cancer #LateEffects #CanSky #ThanksCancer

So much of what I did during cancer treatment was trying to make the muggles in my life more comfortable. Let the cancer muggles be uncomfortable. #cansky
Health insurance is wild. You pay every month for months, years, decades, in case something catastrophic happens. Then it does and the insurers are like yeah no not THAT kind of catastrophe.
Bone health screening. No gatekeeping by age alone. Alongside all post menopausal women, anyone (of any age) taking treatments/meds &/or having surgical interventions that risk their bone health.

When Others Share First I've been pondering this phenomenon for quite a while and certainly for the same amount of time that social media has been present in our lives. Yes, I remember a time when social media wasn't a thing (I… http://nohalfmeasures.blog/2024/11/18/when-others-share-first/
