We should have learned that you can’t manage a public health crisis by ignoring it. Politicizing science and weakening disease surveillance doesn’t make threats disappear, it only makes us less prepared to respond.
Infectious diseases like cyclospora and measles are spreading because the people in charge don't care about public health. That's why we need more scientists and/or healthcare professionals in the room. That's why I'm running.

Ostrich has up to 24 chicks. When they hatch they walk within 30 mins, and forge on their own. They will stay with their parents for protection for 6-9 months, but will remain in the flock for a year after 3-4 years a male will develop the iconic black and white feather and find its own territory.
I checked multiple sources that say this is in large part what Massie said in June, give or take a couple of words..
