Recently saw the extended edition. Most of the added material I thought was rightly cut—but I really liked the T-1000 glitching after the liquid nitrogen. It parallels how the first film’s T-800 is degraded by cumulative punishment, and it could explain late tactical mistakes like “Call to John.”

The stuntwork in the penultimate reel of this film is INSANE. I would love to know more about how these stunts were designed and staged to look as impressive as possible!

I’m not going to call it the worst timeline, because it can always be worse than it is. But the recurring pattern of thinking that one terrible thing might be prevented from happening, only to have that thing happen after all, is its own strain of worst.
I don’t believe this will ever happen to me, but since I have experienced this kind of switch flip with olives, I can never be sure

Max Miller released audio recordings of conversations he has with his ex wife. In one of them, she accuses him of clandestinely recording their conversations. “I have never recorded our conversations” he says, while recording their conversation. This is domestic violence. Ask me how I know.
There could be something to this, I dunno. My own gen A.I. usage is basically entirely utilitarian, and the whole flattery thing is transparently pointless filler, so long ago I told GPT to skip the praise and stick to brief, substantial responses.

I was repeatedly reminded of Darren Aronofsky’s NOAH by Christopher Nolan’s ODYSSEY. This is a very good thing in my eyes.

Sheer vindictive scapegoating. Like the wrongful persecution of Kilmar Abrego Garcia. Like the attempts to indict Letitia James and the investigations into Chris Krebs and Miles Taylor. Like the disgraceful, ongoing harassment of Dr. Anthony Fauci by yapping lapdogs who aren’t half the man he is.

Has any actor today had a nerdier career than Hailee Steinfeld? Had her breakout role in a Coen Bros. Western and has since played Spider-Gwen, Emily Dickinson, and Kate Bishop, in addition to starring in SINNERS and the one good live-action Transformers movie. I honestly can’t think of anyone else.
Does the language of "non-negotiables" have a life in Catholic theology outside the context of US politics? BXVI used "These values are not negotiable" (Sacramentum Caritatis), which is connected but not identical.

An analysis by Reuters found a watermark in the map image that suggests it was made with OpenAI.
