Pitchfork did that list of the 100 best rap albums and in the wake of that I saw lists/commentary from Buck 65, Call Out Culture, and Open Mike Eagle, all of which got me thinking so nobody asked but here's 51 albums that aren't necessarily the best or even my most favorite but important to me

some artists would've never pressed CDs had i not mentioned it first. as a lot of artists came at me believing they were obsolete. understand...PHYSICAL MEDIA WILL NEVER BE OBSOLETE. corporations are the ones attempting to eliminate it. don't let them.
