Caused by a completely different line getting pulled down, by a completely different branch from a completely different tree in a completely different nearby backyard than the last two times.

Have to admit, I didn't expect these to all be from TotK when we have a remake of OoT and a movie on the horizon. Does it tell us that Nintendo still wants the Wild era to be prominent in merch and etc.? Or does it just mean these figures were in development for a long time? Hard to say yet...

Honestly, who I'd choose depends on the context. Should I pick someone who makes sense in the context of the game? Or can I go full bias with it? WOULD the latter be a good idea if it leads to fans resenting me? Could I bargain to go with a safer pick in exchange for an extra echo fighter?

We got a lot of gaming news over the last month! Not all of it good (understatement), but the high points included reveals and recent releases with a bunch of interesting characters! Have to ask, as a Smash guy, which of them would you be open to seeing newcomer concepts for?

So yeah. Pretty good Direct overall! Even if we're still waiting on Smash. This one was definitely for the RPG fans. LOT of 'em got announced or dated this time, which helps shore up a genre the Switch 2 was weaker in. Less so for platformer/Mario fans...but I'm sure they won't wait for long.

Has Nintendo's long-term marketing felt weird lately for anyone else? They'll announce a game in a Direct up to a year before its planned release date, then say nothing about it until 2-3 months before that date. Which leaves fans hanging for a long time. (This is a FEFW post, but not just that.)
