Today marks 250 years of American independence—a moment of both celebration and reflection on our history and present. We honor those who’ve expanded democracy: immigrants, women, Black communities, labor organizers, queer communities, faith leaders, and everyday people.
As struggles over voting rights, free speech, and democracy continue, we hope Democracy Under Siege sparks reflection and action. Stream it free July 3–5. Help us bring free screenings to libraries, schools, houses of worship, and community spaces nationwide by donating today.
