👀👇 Great public service. Been helping a friend whose husband recently died - and then she fell and hit her head. He did all their banking stuff so I was helping her transfer money. Did a search for the bank's name and got a page full of AI garbage, no direct link to the bank. Infuriating.

I work at a public library. People who want to use AI seem to have no trouble doing so. People who don't want to use AI have a harder time. I crowdsourced and then finalized this document "How to disable or avoid intrusive AI" and then gave it a short URL: notoai.org Please pass along if it's useful

NEW: After the Civil War, Congress readmitted the southern states under a key condition: don't expand felony disenfranchisement. But the states quickly violated their promise & weaponized criminal statutes to skew elections. It finally caught up with one of them this year. Fascinating read:
